Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Astra Atlas, operated by RVRBN, collects, where it is kept, and who helps us run the service. We keep it short and plain. We do not sell your data.

What we store

• Your account email. So you can sign in and we can send you receipts and important notices.
• The birth data you enter. The date, time, and place of birth for you and anyone you add. This is what we compute your map from.
• Your purchases. A record of what you bought and unlocked, so your reports stay available to you.

Where it lives

Your account, your birth data, and your purchase records are stored in Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Access is restricted, and your rows are protected so that they are readable only by you and the service.

Your birth data is treated as sensitive

Birth details and precise birthplace coordinates are personal. We treat them as sensitive. They live only in our Supabase database and are used only to compute and show your results. We never send your birth data or precise coordinates to our analytics, error monitoring, payment, map, or email providers. Only opaque identifiers, which do not reveal who you are or when you were born, ever cross those boundaries.

The processors that help us run Astra Atlas

• Stripe processes payments. Stripe receives what it needs to take payment. It does not receive your birth data.
• Vercel hosts the application and serves the pages you see.
• Mapbox provides the map tiles your map is drawn on. It renders the map in your browser and does not receive your birth data.
• Resend sends transactional email such as sign in links and receipts. It receives your email address, not your birth data.
• PostHog gives us basic product analytics, so we can count visits and understand how the service is used. It does not receive your birth data.
• Sentry collects error reports when something breaks, so we can fix it. It does not receive your birth data.

Cookies

We use a few cookies to keep you signed in and to count visits. When you first arrive we ask whether you accept them. You can decline, and we record that choice. Essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep the service working are always used.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the processors above who help us run the service.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it at any time. Write to us at support@astratlas.com and we will take care of it. Some records may be kept where the law requires, for example basic records of a purchase.
